GTA IV PS3 Patch Available Now; Fixes Online Play

If you haven't [for some ridiculous reason] popped Grand Theft Auto IV in your PS3 since last week, Rockstar released a patch on Monday that fixes the glitch that cuased the game to freeze when switching to the online multiplayer portion of the game. You'll need to download this patch in order to continue to play the game. Thanks Rockstar!

In his opening monologue, late night comedian Conan O'Brien shared his opinion about Grand Theft Auto IV stating:

"In the past, Grand Theft Auto's been severely criticized for being too violent. The new version, it's been toned down a lot, I think in reaction to the criticism. I'm not sure it's better. Take a look."

Everyone's crazy about the release of Grand Theft Auto IV! So I devote this new segment in the ACG blog, GTA IV Mania.

If you're a gamer who doesn't have the game yet because you don't know what version to get, the guys at GameVideos can help you come to a well-thought-out decision.

If you ask me, I can barely tell a graphical difference between the console versions. I noticed the PS3 version doesn't suffer from the pop-ins evident in the 360 version. Then again, the 360 will have exclusive DLC in the near future. It's your choice.

Just be glad your not a Wii-only owner. Haha.
