Hoshi no Kirby (working title): Now "fans" of Kirby that think Superstar is the ONLY good Kirby game have something to drool over

After watching copious amounts of the Hoshi no Kirby anime, I've decided to post about the newest game that is allegedy going to come out eventually. The game was first announced at E3 2005. Since then, not much has been said of it. It was originally a Gamecube title, but is now moved to the Wii, assuming it will be released at all. A trailer of the game can be seen here.

The game sees the return of the helper system and expands upon it by allowing Kirby to ride his helpers. There can be a maximum of three helpers, and the more Kirby rides, the more powerful his attacks become. Also the game features the abilities with multiple attacks system present in Amazing Mirror and Squeak Squad.

According to IGN and the Wikipedia article for this game, Beth Llewelyn of Nintendo of America stated that Kirby was "not abandoned on the Wii", and "not to forget about Kirby either" on the Gamecube. Could Kirby pull a Twilight Princess on us?

Call me a heathen, but I want this game more than Brawl.
