Apple juice is the rumormonger's favorite.

A juicy tidbit has been circulating around the Internet; it's been said that Square-Enix is getting fed up with Sony and possibly moving on to other consoles (the Wii?!).My keyboard is literally gushing apple juice as I type this, so I'd better make this quick.

From what I hear, Square-Enix is not releasing any games for the PS3 throughout fiscal year 2007 (which ends March 2008). So I guess that means that the PS3 won't have FFXIII to go against the big name juggernauts coming out later this year (though I suppose it has a backup plan). Also, I heard that FFXIII may be the last Final Fantasy to grace a Sony console! SOMEBODY GET ME A CUP!

The grapevine also told me that Square-Enix said "DS and Wii fans will have a lot to be happy about". I suppose that they will unveil this "happiness" at the Tokyo Game Show, as it essentially is what E3 used to be. Square-Enix is already showing a decent amount of support for the DS with Final Fantasy remakes, spinoffs, and Dragon Quest 9(!). Could this mean that Square and Nintendo are officially buddies again like in the 90's? A CUP IS NOT ENOUGH! I NEED A CARTON, HELL GET ME 10!

I'm drenched in apple juice right now, but we the good folks at ACG will keep you updated as we hear more.

Also visit www.smashbros.com because I said so.
