E308: Resident Evil 5 Dated

During a demo shown at the Microsoft Press Conference, Resident Evil 5 producer Jun Takeuchi announced that the game would be released worldwide on Friday, March 13th, 2008. Japan we'll be getting a day early (of course) on the 12th.

It aired last night on GameTrailers.com. This is the official second trailer for Capcom's Resident Evil 5, featuring new footage and characters! Capcom just released these new shots of their upcoming survival-horror shooter, Resident Evil 5!

Possibly Real? RE5 To Feature 2-Player Co-op & Cover System

An article at GamesRadar has stated that Resident Evil 5 will feature a cooperative mode within the campaign. Players can drop in and out of the co-op mode. The site also mentioned the new cover system which allows players to "lock to a wall and fire around the corner." The game will also include a new dodge action which will be controlled by the right analog stick.

Unfortunately, the artcle has been yanked from the site. So, I don't know if these details are rumors or not.
