Michael Phelps Gets Call of Duty: World at War Before Anybody Else

Everybody loves Olympic Gold Medalist Michael Phelps...even Activision! The company just hooked him up with the first copy of Call of Duty: World at War. I guess we "ordinary" people have to wait 2 months more...when the game's supposed to come out.

Call of Duty: World at War Screens & Details





Kotaku posted new screens and details of developer Infinity Ward’s Treyarch's Call of Duty: World at War. The game will take place back in both the Pacific and Europeran theatres. Players will not only experience being an American soldier battling the Japanese, but as one of the Russian soldiers on their way towards Berlin. CoD: World at War will feature 4-player drop-in/drop-out cooperative gameplay in the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC versions of the game. Nintendo Wii owners will get only 2-player co-op. Call of Duty 5 Debut Trailer

Here's a first look at Call of Duty: World at War. Visually, the game looks appealing. BUT no more Modern Warfare. It's back to World War II, guys. What's worse? Developer Infinity Ward is not behind it, Treyach is. Let's hope they learned a thing or two from the guys at Infinity Ward. I'd hate it if they screwed the franchise up ::cough:: CALL OF DUTY 3 ::cough::
