In a surprising turn of events, I'm actually really excited about the release of a Dragon Quest game. Now I'm not a big fan of Dragon Quest even though I have made several attempts to get into the series. I did,however, play the Japanese version...and even though I didn't understand a lick of what was said...or even what was going on..
The game still managed to suck me in maybe it was the character creation(which isn't really deep) or how the battle system has changed to being more "Involved". Either way i'm making a journey to New York for the Nintendo World Launch of Dragon Quest IX on July 10th. Apparently the creator of Dragon Quest,Yuji Horii, will be there signing copies for the first thirty buyers of the game. Not being one to slack off on an appearance of a game creator I'll be doing my best to be one of those lucky thirty!
(Lets hope this doesnt turn into another MGS4 Kojima Event)
