Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru or "For the frog the bell tolls" is a Japanese gameboy game that would form the basis for the engine used for The Legend of Zelda "Links Awakening". This little known gem of a game was released September 4th,1992 in Japan. The game was never brought over to the United States so very few people know of its exsistance. But to those who do and have played it. Its a great little game telling the story of a prince who has a spell cast upon him allowing him to transform into different animals such as snakes and turtles.
This game is currently being translated and the patch should be released sometime during the late summer..I will keep you guys posted!!

is there anything new going on 'bout the translation? btw. those screens are fake coloured ones from the original b/w game afaik.
