It's official! The official PlayStation.Blog has announced that PlayStation 3 Firmware 2.36 will be coming soon (probably prior or during this Thursday's PLAYSTATION Store update). Firmware 2.36 will improve "system stability when playing select PlayStation format software titles". The PlayStation.Blog has also announced that the following Firmware 2.40 will allow in-game access to the XMB and trophy support (the Sony PlayStation 3's version of Microsoft Xbox 360's popular Acheivements).
