Online movie rental website Netflix announced today that the will only purchase and provide subscribers high-definition films in Sony's Blu-ray format, eliminating the HD-DVD format by the end of this year. For more info check out the recent article on the Netflix website.
It seems HD-DVD is dying, if not, dead already. In other news, Microsoft dropped the price of their Xbox 360 HD-DVD player from the MSRP of $179.99 to $129.99.
