Originally exclusive to Sony's little handheld, the game was officially confirmed to be ported over to the PlayStation 2 in a recent email from Sony to PlayStation Undergound members. The game takes place between the last PlayStation 2 game in the franchise, Ratchet: Deadlocked and the latest game in the franchise, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction for the PlayStation 3. Unfortunately, no exclusive upgrades have been announced for the PS2 port nor an official release date from Sony.
