Gran Turismo 5: Prologue Official Release Date and Details!

According the official PlayStation Blog, Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) has announced that Gran Turismo 5: Prologue will be released in North America on April 17, 2008, exclusively on the PS3. Two versions will be available for purchase: a downloadable version via the PlayStation Store and a Blu-ray disc retail version. The BD retail version will feature an "exclusive behind-the-scenes High Definition (HD) video feature called 'Beyond the Apex'", offering access to the crew at (developer) Polyphony Digital and an inside look on how the team creates the realistic cars and environments shown in the game. Both versions of the game are tagged at $39.99.
