Struggling with a Decision: One College Gamers Crisis

Alright, My copy of Another Century's Episode 3, was shipped it out the other day, so I should be able have it in my Carpal Tunneld fingers by wednesday. But even before I get my dose of heavy metal robot bashing, my minds already afloat to my next import, this time its an action RPG, Final FantasyVII: Crisis Core.

I recently became a FF fanatic a year or two back (FF9 was my first offical foray, then Final Fantasy Tactics ADVANCE, sealed the deal) so ive dabbled here and there in terms of FF games, my last game was the recent Final fantasy 12( I bought the collectors edition). Crisis Core takes place a few years before the events of Final Fantasy 7( I was never to found of 7 till recently) Crisis core has really got my eye, it looks super slick for a PSP game. Problem is I dont have a PSP, here lies the problem, I have several choices in front me, let me map it out for you readers

Choice 1:Buy a Used PSP
I called the local gamespot, and asked how much a Used PSP would go for, I was told at least $140. Seems fair enough?
Pro's- well its a cheap PSP, less money out of my wallet
Con's- Geez its used, I never really liked getting a used system, just because of the fact that you dont know why the previous owner gave it up.

Choice 2: Get the PSP lite
Sony decided to pull a Nintendo and do the whole "Bring out a flashier version of our previous handheld so we can take more money from you" The psp lite, well has several nice specs, it loads games faster, its lighter, and the battery life is a bit improved plus you get to hook it up to your TV isnt that awesome?

Pro's: The TV output, nicer design

Con's: Geez $169.99, buy its self, it doesnt come with the ouput you have to get that seperate. The slim is more for looks, not much of an improvement, at least not as drastic as the DSphat to DS lite.

PSP SLIM-Engadget coverage

Choice 3: Attack from all sides
I think this one might be more reasonable, Getting the PSP slim or regular, than instead of ordering FF-Crisis Core from Yesasia, I was thinking of getting that seperately from Digital Press( a store that specializes in Imports and Retro games) but if worse comes to worse ill just order online.

BTW heres a Video of the Final Fantasy:Crisis Core Trailer- Please check it out!!!

Bam, you should consider getting a PSP. I don't have one, but it looks like a good purchase. I'm sure you know, but get the right firmware and then you can emulate all sorts of games on there, especially SNES games (which, in my opinion, are the most fun). I'm pretty sure it can emulate most PS1 games too with the right firmware. I played through FFVII, it was alright, never saw the big deal about it. Crisis Core is the game where you play as the Zack guy, right? I still say get the PSP, you'd enjoy it.
