ACE 3- kinda a review but not really

You ever get so excited about something, that it gets to the point that you feel like your going to explode? but when that something happens your like " eh ok"?  Well thats how I feel about Another century's episode 3:The final.

I was so excited about this game over the summer, having beatend ACE2 5000 times over, I was soooo ready to suit up for my next mecha induced coma. Lemme break it down for you folks at home.

Story: I understand very little japanese, but that was never the case for ACE and established gamer could figure out what was going on if he only observed. Plus a great deal of the anime involved I was familiar with, and from what I could tell, they tried to through in a whole lotta robots but almost little or no story to them. Examble, Kira and Athrun from Gundam Seed are unlockable units...WTF?! they dont even have a story you can just by the Freedomn and Justice from the unit purchase menu, they have no major involvement in the storyline whatsoever! alot of the units like Wing Zero Custom , Dubine ETC are just there for cameo purposes, Since most of theur series were concluded in ACE2 but to have whole new units with no backstory...is just to much.
 Even the units who did have a backstory only had a few missions dedicated to their anime Example, Wings of Rean has like 2 missions related to the suits....ONLY 2?! wtf!!!

The story's they did concentrate on were pretty straight up, A lot Eureka 7 and Gundam X. But it doesnt help balance out the differences...

Mechs:
The designs are interesting enough, of course in following ACE tradition they stay true to their anime form, some of them that were in ACE2 got upgrades and such. The animations are smoother and crisper, sound effects add more ambience etc.

Battle system:
Pretty much remains the same cept for a few tweeks, more enimies = more destruction, theyve added random mecha allies that serve as cannon fodder, but they add more to the battle.

maps:
Still dull they'eve added some nice affects that trick the eye. like how the ground will look like a sprawling city as you fly over it, but when you land its all flat, that sorta thing.

Overall
 for now im giving the game an 8/10 ill rewrite the post and add some extras!!!
