From Software has announced it will release Another Century's Episode 3: The Final for the PS2, according to the latest issue of Japanese publication Famitsu.
The game will feature mechs from 18 different anime titles including the original Gundam, Char's Counterattack, G Gundam, Gundam W, Gundam X, Turn-A Gundam, Gundam Seed, Dragnar, Wings of Rean, Brainpowerd, Macross: Do You Remember Love, Macross Plus, Overman King Gainer, Shin Getter Robo, Dunbine, Martian Succesor Nadesico: The Prince of Darkness and Eureka Seven. Theme songs from each anime with the original artist will also be featured in the game.
Original characters and mechs exclusive to the series will also be in the game. Character design and mech design will be handled by Shigenori Soejima (Stella Deus, Persona 3) and Takayuki Yanase (Super Robot Wars W, Eureka Seven) respectively.
Improvements from the previous game are expected such as more multiple objectives and combination skills between the mechs. For multiplayer, other than the split screen versus mode, a new coop campaign mode will be featured.
A.C.E.3The Final is expected for a September 6 release in Japan.
